As part of NHS preparedness towards a no-deal EU exit we would like to make you aware that patients can access information via the following link around continuity of medicines supply if there is a no-deal EU exit has been updated. This update explains the government’s multi-layered approach to ensure that medicines continue to be available if there is a no-deal EU exit.

Patients are reminded that regular out of hours appointments provided by the Cumbria Health Extended Access (CHEA) service can be booked via our reception team.


When We Are Closed

out_of_hoursOutside of the above hours medical cover will be provided by NHS Direct on telephone number 111. This service is only for emergencies which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. All telephone calls to 111 are voice recorded.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.


Please note the surgery closes from 1pm for Protected Learning time one half day each month. During this period please telephone our out of Hours service if your call cannot wait until the following day when the surgery re-opens.

Please note 'Out of Hours service' is strictly for illness that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens the following day.
