Dear patient, we have now moved our online prescription service over to Patient Access online where you can also book appointments, there is an app available with this service so you can do both from your smart phone - you can access this via Eden Medical Groups website, by calling the surgery or coming and speaking to reception, Thank you
We accept repeat requests by dropping a repeat prescription at front desk/your local pharmacy or on-line (you must be registered at the surgery first to access this confidential service.)
With each prescription you will receive a tear off slip which should be ticked to indicate the items required and returned to the surgery. You should allow at least 48 hours before your supply of medication runs out. Do not try and order items not provided on tear off slip. Prescriptions will be ready for collection from the surgery within 2 full working days of ordering.
If a stamped self-addressed envelope is enclosed with your repeat slip, we will be happy to post your prescription to you – experience shows this can take up to a week.
Alternatively you may order your prescription through a chemist of your choice; we will return the prescription to the chemist.
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs). The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
As of September 2018, the charges are:
PPCs are available by 10 monthly direct debit instalment payments. The certificates allow anyone to obtain all the prescriptions they need for £2 a week.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
