Dr Georgina Coakley is training to be our GP Trainer for the practice and will be the GP trainer and mentor for the GP registrars.

Seasonal Flu Injections
If you are eligible for a seasonal flu injection, please call the surgery and make an appointment.
All patients at The Eden Medical Group now have a accountable named GP, however, all patients still have the option to see any GP within the practice.
Minor Ailments Service Named GP
You can now visit your local pharmacy for Advice & Treatment rather than waiting for an appointment. The Minor Ailment service covers a range of short term treatments for, digestive disorders, mouth problems, skin allergies/itches, eyes/ear problems, nasal/cough congestion, infections, pains and inflammations. You may need referred back to your GP if more treatment is necessary or if the condition is not covered by the service. Pharmacists will complete a referral form which you will need to bring to the surgery, or if it is urgent for that day, the pharmacist will contact the surgery. If appropriate the you will be supplied with medicine to treat the symptoms.
You do not need to make an appointment with the Pharmacist for this service, you can pop in whenever you need to. For more information, please contact your local Pharmacist.

Patient Access Online
From the 31st March 2015 patients registered online will be able to access some information from their medical record e.g: Medication, Allergies, Adverse reactions and Immunisation's. If you would like access to this and are currently registered, please come to the surgery with prove of identity to gain access. Do you look after someone who is ill, frail, disabled or mentally Ill?
As a Carer you are entitled to have your needs assessed by Adult Care Services. A Carers assessment is a chance to talk to about your needs as a carer and the possible ways help could be given. It also looks at the needs of the person you care for. There is no charge for this assessment.
